There’s something so cool and simple about The Modernettes, they’re practically timeless. This is another circa 1980 video I got courtesy of E. Buzz Miller of Soundproof fame, handed off to me in 1995. That year I co-designed and produced a pretty cool multimedia presentation saluting Vancouver’s Golden Age of Punk & New Wave, which Buzz and Grant & Gord from Zulu Records kindly supported with content.

Pointed Sticks!
I can’t continue my discussion of the greatest period of Vancouver music without mentioning Pointed Sticks. First, a video of the band playing in a Vancouver-shot movie, Out of the Blue….
